Today we wrote in our journals about our choices for our assigned reading. Each of you is required to read either an autobiography, and autobiographical novel, or a novel written in the style of a diary. Then we worked on using our prewriting to develop a well-structured paragraph to describe the character of our choice. At the end of our lesson (or in the middle) we visited the library. Every Thursday, grade 7 students will have 20 minutes or so to visit the library.

Create a poster telling people about yourself. It can be a paper version or electronic.
The poster must include:
1. A picture or drawing of yourself
2. Personal details such as name, age, birthday, birth country and language
3. Three character traits that describe you
4. Names of all family members living with you
5. List of traits that you feel are important in friends/being a good friend
6. At least three things you like and three things you dislike
7. Hobbies and skills
8. Interesting facts
Brainstorm all possible facts and then choose the most important and relevant. You should include drawings and/or pictures/photos. Include sources if you use photos or images from the internet. Make your poster colorful and creative!
