Today we opened with a journal entry about our assigned reading choice. Then we either worked on writing a well-focused descriptive paragraph or went to the library for a brief visit. Depending on the block, this then flip-flopped. Every Thursday, grade 7 students will have approximately 20 minutes to visit the library to return and check out books or read silently.

Create a poster telling people about yourself. It can be a paper version or electronic.
The poster must include:
1. A picture or drawing of yourself
2. Personal details such as name, age, birthday, birth country and language
3. Three character traits that describe you
4. Names of all family members living with you
5. List of traits that you feel are important in friends/being a good friend
6. At least three things you like and three things you dislike
7. Hobbies and skills
8. Interesting facts
Brainstorm all possible facts and then choose the most important and relevant. You should include drawings and/or pictures/photos. Include sources if you use photos or images from the internet. Make your poster colorful and creative!
